Agricultural Machinery Specialist Opportunity

The role is part of a leading Australian dealership with 20 locations throughout QLD and Northern NSW. We are a family-owned business with over 75 years in the industry, specialising in the sale and service of heavy commercial trucks, trailers, agricultural, and construction machinery.

We seek a skilled Agricultural Mechanic to join our Cairns (Ag) branch team. Key responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing maintenance, services, repairs, rebuilds, and breakdowns on a range of farm equipment and machinery.

You will diagnose issues, carry out work to manufacturers' standards, help train apprentices, and collaborate with workshop personnel. Additionally, you will complete job cards accurately, participate in the on-call roster, attend offsite breakdowns, and provide exceptional customer service.

To succeed, you need an Agricultural mechanic qualification or any other relevant mechanical certification, a safe working approach, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, HR and forklift licenses, and experience with New Holland, Case IH, John Deere, or Kubota equipment.

We welcome second to fourth year agricultural mechanic apprentices, as well as overseas and interstate agricultural mechanics. Our custom-built training facilities offer an ideal environment to learn and develop your skills.
