Job Title: Homelessness Specialist: Tenders and Standards

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Homelessness Specialist: Tenders & Standards, at our Coburg North location. Reporting to the Senior Homelessness Specialist, this is a permanent, full-time position.

About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating service quality improvement and accreditation, as well as identifying future funding opportunities to extend service delivery profile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate service quality improvement and accreditation
  • Identify future funding opportunities to extend service delivery profile
  • Assist in the development of national standards, quality frameworks and service improvement
  • Develop processes and procedures that facilitate consistent evidence informed service delivery
  • Develop materials or collateral that supports good practice and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field and relevant experience
  • Post graduate qualification would be highly regarded
  • Experience in social and community services programs including program management in Homelessness and community housing
  • Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the Homelessness sector
  • Experience in translating high level strategy into practice at a service level
  • A current drivers licence
