About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Homelessness Specialist: Tenders & Standard to join our team at The Salvation Army Australia's Homelessness Stream.

This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Senior Homelessness Specialist, with salary and conditions in accordance with the SCHADS award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate service quality improvement and accreditation
  • Develop and coordinate materials to support tender and other funding applications
  • Identify future funding opportunities to extend service delivery profile
  • Assist in the development of national standards, quality frameworks and service improvement
  • Develop processes and procedures to facilitate consistent evidence-informed service delivery
  • Develop materials or collateral to support good practice and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or a related field, and relevant experience
  • Postgraduate qualification would be highly regarded
  • Experience in social and community services programs, including program management in Homelessness and community housing
  • Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the Homelessness sector
  • Experience in translating high-level strategy into practice at a service level
  • A current driver's licence
