Investigations Leadership Role

BOQ Group is seeking a seasoned investigations leader to oversee its Group Investigations function. This role requires someone with experience in managing complex investigations, fraud detection, and risk mitigation.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to guide a team of investigators, and build trust across the business. They will also have in-depth knowledge of banking products, risk frameworks, and investigative techniques.

This is a hands-on role that involves leading investigations into internal and whistleblower matters, identifying fraud risks, and strengthening relationships with law enforcement and external agencies.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with many years' experience in investigations, fraud, financial crime, or anti-bribery and corruption. They will have worked with law enforcement or regulators and be confident navigating sensitive data, legal processes, and complex risk environments.

Responsibilities include preparing reports for Executive review, attending court hearings when needed, and representing BOQ professionally in legal proceedings. The individual will also serve as a key contact for external stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry bodies.
