Job Description

This role involves supporting older individuals to help them achieve their personal goals and live more independently, while participating in social activities.

Social Activity Group Responsibilities:
  • Empowerment: Work directly with clients to support them in achieving their personal objectives.
  • Active Participation: Facilitate decision-making processes for clients, ensuring their feedback shapes the activities and experiences offered.
  • Engagement: Organize dynamic group activities that promote mental stimulation and social connection among clients.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with older adults is essential.
  • A Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support/Community (Aged) or equivalent qualification is required.
  • The ability to develop and implement individualized service plans is crucial.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a 12-seater bus are necessary.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other IT systems is required.
