Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans, assisting them with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.

Additional responsibilities include providing transportation assistance to clients, providing respite care to clients and their families, keeping accurate and up-to-date records of client care plans and progress, and communicating effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of high school or equivalent education, along with experience working with people with disabilities and strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Provide transportation assistance to clients
  • Provide respite care to clients and their families
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client care plans and progress
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school or equivalent education
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines
