Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

The Personal Care Specialist will be responsible for providing a range of services, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport, and companionship. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure that clients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
  • Transport clients to appointments and outings
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Follow care plans developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
  • Ensure safety and proper use of equipment
  • Accurately complete records and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support, or Disability, or extensive industry experience
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
  • NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
  • Reliable vehicle and Australian Driver's License
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
