Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Support Specialist to provide personal care and support to older Australians living in their own homes.

This role involves providing assistance with daily living tasks, such as showering and personal hygiene needs, as well as supporting clients to continue living well through activities like transport to appointments and social connection.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each client.

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering and personal hygiene needs
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Offering social connection and companionship

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care and Support: Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities that promote independence and wellbeing.

Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients and their families, understanding their unique needs and preferences, and delivering care that is tailored to their individual circumstances.

Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging): A relevant qualification in aged care or a related field.

Australian Driver Licence: A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for transporting clients.

First Aid & CPR: Current first aid and CPR certification.

Police Check: A valid police check within the last 3 years.

Working Rights: Valid working rights in Australia.
