Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Building Supervisor based in Cairns. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing jobs effectively and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of job delivery, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Provide excellent customer service, setting expectations and delivering on commitments.
  • Schedule work and organize trades to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Complete reports and quotes for peer review in the job management system.
  • Attend site meetings, reviewing scopes with customers and setting expectations.

About You:

  • MUST have previous experience working with insurance repairs.
  • Cert IV in Building & Construction or willing to complete.
  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor and/or carpentry background (preferred).
  • A working knowledge of the NCC, QBCC Standards and Tolerances and WH&S (preferred).
  • Passion to deliver high-quality finishes from your trades team.
  • Positive and confident attitude with a focus on customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of computer skills, including adapting to new programs and Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements:

  • QBCC Site Supervisor License (min Building - Low Rise) - desirable, not essential.
  • Cert IV in Building & Construction - preferred.
  • White Card.
  • Driver's License.
  • Working at Heights - highly desirable.
  • Senior First Aid or equivalent.
