Construction Project Coordinator

We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Cairns. This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a multi-year design and construction contract.
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of site inspectors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
This is a fixed term opportunity with contracts ranging from 18-24 months in duration.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage site inspections, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and implement project plans
- Assist in preparing and submitting reports, including site inspection reports and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or construction management
- Proven experience in project coordination, site inspections, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and Policies, particularly those related to construction and infrastructure projects
