Overview of the Role
We are seeking experienced individuals for Plant Operator positions to work on projects in Cairns and surrounding areas in 2024/2025. The successful applicants will have experience in the Asphalt Industry, Civil Construction, and Road Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
The Plant Operator will be responsible for:
- Machine Operations
- Working around bulk earthworks and services
- Assisting on civil construction projects
- Undertaking daily pre-start checks and regular vehicle maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current HR driving licence
- Relevant machinery tickets
- An industry white card
- Sound oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Effective time and workload management skills, as well as the ability to prioritise tasks
- Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
- Full Australian working rights
