About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as an Injury Management Consultant. As part of our dedicated healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance on injury management and workers compensation matters.

Our Injury Management Consultant will be responsible for coordinating divisional efforts to prevent injuries, manage early intervention and rehabilitation programs, and administer Workers Compensation claims to enable safe early Return to Work. This will involve travel to various hospital sites as required.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline or substantial equivalent industry experience in workplace-based early intervention programs, rehabilitation, and claims management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate divisional efforts to prevent injuries and manage early intervention and rehabilitation programs
  • Administer Workers Compensation claims to enable safe early Return to Work
  • Travel to various hospital sites as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline or substantial equivalent industry experience
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and understand statistical data
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work to deadlines
  • Computer skills and experience in using software packages
