About the Role:

We are seeking a Claims and Injury Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing an effective injury management system to ensure compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with staff, managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure effective claims and workforce support.
  • Deliver prompt, efficient, and compliant claims and compensation services, including dispute resolution, cost management, and adherence to legislative and accreditation standards.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and training on workers' compensation matters to management, supervisors, claimants, and staff to ensure consistent and equitable outcomes.
  • Represent us in legal and compensation matters, including negotiation and tribunal proceedings, to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of disputes.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through consultation, grievance resolution, mentorship, and development of best practice approaches that support equity, diversity, and individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven skills in planning, problem-solving, and implementing effective solutions under tight deadlines and changing environments.
  • Clear communication and confident negotiation skills with staff, senior management, solicitors, and external organizations.
  • Experience managing injury management systems, analysing data, and producing accurate reports.
  • Understanding of WHS and injury management legislation and policies, committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and compliant workplace.
