Job Role Overview

This position supports the National Injury Management Advisor with the administration of employee Injury Management and Return to Work processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support triaging injuries or illnesses, ensuring quick and appropriate medical treatment is made available.
  • Liaise with site Management to develop a return-to-work plan that identifies suitable duties for injured employees.
  • Maintain contact with site management and/or injured employees to monitor recovery and return to work progress.
  • Update the SOLV Injury database with information related to all claims.
  • Attend initial doctors consultations with injured employees at local clinics.
  • Provide administrative support for long-term absent employees following the Fit For Work process.
Requirements:
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work training/qualification or similar is highly regarded.
  • Workers Compensation / Injury Management Coordinator training, Cert IV Personal Injury Management is an advantage but not required.
  • Demonstrated capability working in a similar position within a multi-site organisation.
  • Understanding of applicable State / Territory Workers compensation schemes (case management experience will be highly regarded).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
