Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager

\

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation and sustenance of quality management systems across various departments. Your responsibility includes developing and executing strategic actions to enhance quality throughout the value chain.

You will be responsible for managing global quality processes within designated areas, driving certification activities, and ensuring adherence to relevant processes and tools. This entails leading internal or external audits, maintaining quality management systems intact, and delivering overall quality objectives and targets.

  • You will establish process performance indicators, ensure effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes meet customer expectations.
  • Analyze process indicators continuously and take corrective actions to address deviations from expectations. Manage such deviations to closure.
  • Ensure full utilization of applicable systems for monitoring, reporting, and following up on process indicators.

You will deploy and maintain a Continuous Improvement & Lean culture. This includes defining and implementing governance structures to generate, prioritize, and execute improvement ideas. You will lead the deployment of Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and continuous improvement methodologies across departments.

Foster Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities. Track progress and impact of improvement initiatives and cost out results.

Resolve high-profile Non-Conformities (NCRs) reported, monitor and control customer interventions triggered by customer dissatisfaction. Protect and strengthen customer trust by addressing quality issues effectively.

Serve as an advocate for the customer, representing their Voice within the local quality strategy. Represent the company in terms of quality, when needed, ensuring customer satisfaction by evaluating risks, problems, and solutions from a quality and customer perspective.

Manage the local Quality & CI function, including capability development, workforce management, footprint, and succession. Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
