A career opportunity exists for an experienced IT professional to join a dynamic banking organization. The role is responsible for providing assistance with the IT Helpdesk, effective support and resolution of IT incidents and problems, and assistance with projects through testing, training, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will report to a senior IT Manager and be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences for internal team members across the business. Experience working in a helpdesk role in the banking industry is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, responding to, and attending promptly to IT service tickets, maintaining hardware and peripherals, relocating equipment, and running operational tasks and processes.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, core banking experience highly valued
  • Self-starter with experience working in an autonomous environment
  • Knowledge of Office365, SQL, ServiceNow, and PowerBI or willingness to learn
  • Server Administration with a focus on Active Directory, Exchange, Vsphere, VPN support, and Unix
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across the business and with external stakeholders
