The role of Child Safety Officer is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and safety of children, young people and families across Queensland.
As a Child Safety Officer, you will be responsible for delivering statutory child protection services including assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines.
You will work in teams based in Child Safety Service Centres across Queensland, covering specific geographical areas and providing support to vulnerable populations to thrive in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver statutory child protection services
- Assess, intervene, casework and case manage in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes
- Bachelor level qualification in social work, psychology or human services
- Valid driver's licence
- Right to live and work in Australia
