About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Family Lawyer with 4 years PAE + to join the dynamic team at Daykin Family Law in Brisbane.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative and supportive team while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on a wide range of family law issues, including property settlements, parenting, child support and spousal maintenance, with support, guidance and assistance from the Director where necessary
• Managing wide range of files
• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations, including instructing counsel
• Drafting legal documents such as Binding Financial Agreements, Binding Child Support Agreements, consent orders, parenting plans, advices and documents for court proceedings
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Providing exceptional client service and managing client relationships

What we're looking for

• 4 years PAE + experience in family law
• Demonstrated experience in family law, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and case law
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proven track record in managing files and time pressures of tasks
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Admitted to practice law in Queensland and a current practising certificate
• Experience in working across different family law files
