Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering quality services to vulnerable families and individuals.
The successful candidate will provide support and case management, utilizing service guidelines and frameworks to assist clients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in achieving their goals through service planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify client needs and deliver appropriate services.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Support clients in developing life skills through role modeling.
- Engage families in a manner that promotes dignity and encourages self-determination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the Queensland Child Protection system.
- Intermediate proficiency in computer systems, including MS Word and Excel.
- Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver's License.
- Ability to obtain a positive notice in the legislatively required personal history check.
- Current vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain it prior to commencement.
