Early Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will involve working closely with families who have young children aged 0-8 years, providing wrap-around early intervention services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a client caseload, working in partnership with families to assess strengths, needs, and risks, and developing, implementing, and periodically reviewing case plans.

  • Key Duties:
    • Manage a client caseload of families with young children aged 0-8 years.
    • Work in partnership with families to develop, implement, and review case plans.
    • Support the delivery of programs such as playgroups and parenting initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in working with young children and families, including the application of high-quality practical intervention and casework skills.
  • High-level understanding of preventative and early intervention approaches in child and family support.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively with First Nations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families.
  • Current driver's licence and valid Blue Card.
