This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative and supportive team while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
What you'll be doing Advising clients on a wide range of family law issues, including property settlements, parenting, child support and spousal maintenance, with support, guidance and assistance from the Director where necessary Managing wide range of files Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations, including instructing counsel Drafting legal documents such as Binding Financial Agreements, Binding Child Support Agreements, consent orders, parenting plans, advices and documents for court proceedings Conducting legal research and analysis Providing exceptional client service and managing client relationships What we're looking for 4 years PAE + experience in family law Demonstrated experience in family law, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and case law Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice to clients Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically Proven track record in managing files and time pressures of tasks A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service Admitted to practice law in Queensland and a current practising certificate Experience in working across different family law files What we offer Opportunities for professional development and participating in industry events Supportive and collegial team environment About us Daykin Family Law is a leading family law firm in Brisbane dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients.
