Job Title: Access Governance Specialist

Role Overview

The Access Governance team is responsible for defining access frameworks, managing role lifecycles, and maintaining policies across strategic Identity platforms. The team uses deep data insights to drive proactive engagement with Business Units and Technology Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop access frameworks for adoption and enforcement across applicable Identity platforms.
  • Define checks and balances for requestable access, including automated and manual processes.
  • Drive a simplified role estate by reducing stale or redundant access/roles using data-driven insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual submission effort across Business Units and Technology Teams.
  • Aid in defining and challenging proposed policies related to Segregation of Duties/Toxic access combinations.
  • Address legacy policies that exist across one or more platforms, including 'false' SODs or significant 'business rules.'
  • Deliver actionable insights related to outlier access, overlapping access, and predictive analytics.
  • Highlight and address data inconsistencies related to requestable or birthright/pre-approved access.
  • Contribute to assurance test case development and technology roadmaps.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Identity and Access Management, including lifecycle processes and key technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of access models, including fine and coarse grain entitlement relationships.
  • Ability to deliver frameworks aligned with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Capacity to integrate and interrogate large data sets and translate to business insight.
  • Knowledge of business processes, particularly in Banking, to aid with Segregation of Duties policy development.
  • Experience with Audit, Compliance, and Risk functions.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
