The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit risk management, with experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The Risk Governance Specialist will be responsible for evaluating the nature of identified risks, prioritizing remediation activities, and maintaining the risk register. They will also prepare risk reports for senior management and collaborate with other teams to align risk resolution across the organization.

Additionally, the Risk Governance Specialist will manage regulatory notice responses, maintain version control, and leverage instructional guides. They will engage with regulatory bodies, handle internal risks or non-compliance, and support risk remediation activity for reporting financial impacts to the executive committee.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the nature of identified risks and prioritize remediation activities
  • Maintain the risk register and prepare risk reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with other teams to align risk resolution across the organization
  • Manage regulatory notice responses and maintain version control
