Data Governance Framework Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework.

Key responsibilities include managing identity-related data using Informatica IICS, promoting best practices in data stewardship, and advancing the organization's data-driven strategy.

A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of institutional data across domains. This involves improving data quality and consistency across systems such as student information systems (SIS), HR and Identity platforms.

The Data Governance Framework Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring that data privacy and security policies are aligned with regulatory standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret complex data flows and integration patterns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for engaging with business and IT leaders.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations relevant to higher education.
  • Hands-on experience implementing governance tools (preferably Informatica) in a cloud or hybrid environment.
