Key Job Responsibilities

The Participation Coordinator is a pivotal role in driving participation growth across the region.

  • Develop targeted recruitment strategies to increase participant numbers.
  • Increase the number of Auskick and Superkick centres in the region by implementing effective promotional activities.
  • Ensure each program meets curriculum requirements, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
  • Drive transition and retention strategies from AFL programs to junior club football.
  • Liaise with teachers, schools, and other stakeholders to deliver school football competitions and programs.

 

Main Objectives:

  • Foster inclusive environments and pathways through close collaboration with Junior Community Clubs.
  • Implement efficient data management systems within our CRM – Salesforce.
  • Contribute to key projects within and outside core responsibilities, supporting the broader team's success.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require well-developed communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. A fun and enthusiastic nature with a passion for working with children is essential.

  • A proven track record of strong organisation, planning, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time.
  • Proven negotiation abilities and flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary.
  • A demonstrated interest and knowledge of Australian Football.
  • A valid driver's license for regional travel.
