Senior Engagement Manager, AWS Professional Services, Public Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engagement Manager to join our AWS Professional Services team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes for our customers through the management of matrixed teams and the planning, organization, and leadership of all phases of a project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Own the delivery of business outcomes with customers through the management of matrixed teams and the planning, organization, and leadership of all phases of a project lifecycle.
- Work within a matrixed team to plan, organize, and lead all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
- Understand and validate customer outcomes, establish and manage engagement delivery as detailed via our WWPS Engagement Excellence tenets, lifecycle delivery framework, and mechanisms.
- Support presales initiatives as needed from the lens of an engagement manager.
- Provide advice, training, partnering, and collaboration to customers, partners, and internal teams on our agile delivery framework and continue to develop and iterate on the current methodology.
AWS Professional Services leads Government, education, non-profits, and healthcare organizations through their cloud adoption journey and helps them achieve their desired business outcomes through AWS leadership and technical expertise.

- Extensive hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level IT consulting projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects.
- Experience with Agile and Project Management toolsets (e.g., Miro, Jira, RallyDev).
- Presentation skills to C-level executives and technical subject matter experts.
- Supporting with presales estimations, bid approvals, and RFP responses.
- Project management certifications (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.).
- AWS/Cloud experience and certifications.
- FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) for Salesforce.
