Senior Engagement Manager, AWS Professional Services, Public Sector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engagement Manager to join our AWS Professional Services team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-level IT consulting projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with AWS consultants, partner, and client teams to create and execute a plan to achieve engagement goals that deliver customer outcomes.
- Build knowledge of the customer environment to expedite stakeholder alignment, team cohesion to help deliver customer value.
- Lead engagements, aligned to Amazon Leadership Principles and in accordance with the Engagement Manager Role Guidelines.
- Support presales initiatives as needed from the lens of an engagement manager.
- Provide advice, training, partnering, and feedback to customers, partners, and internal teams.
AWS Professional Services lead Government, education, non-profits, and healthcare organizations; and their IT providers through their cloud adoption journey and help them achieve their desired business outcomes through AWS leadership and technical expertise.

- Experience utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects.
- Experience with Agile and Project Management toolsets (e.g. Miro, Jira, RallyDev).
- Presentation skills to C-level executives and technical subject matter experts.
- Project management certifications (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 SAFe (Scaled Agile), etc.).
- AWS / Cloud Experience and Certifications.
- FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) for Salesforce.
