About the Role:

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. This includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the preparation and presentation of food.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain equipment and utensils in good condition, reporting any issues or damage to management promptly.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and effectively, ensuring all dishes and utensils are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks as required, including store equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware hygienically and safely.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar high-volume, fast-paced venue is essential.
  • Able to work a rotating roster, including weekends, AM, and PM shifts, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
