Leadership Role: Home Assessing Team Lead

This senior leadership position is responsible for leading and directing a team of professionals in the Home Assessing function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams, strategic planning, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct responsibility for On-road Assessing and Desktop Assessing Teams
  • Act as key liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Commercial Manager to procure supplier services, ensuring governance, compliance, and contractual frameworks are met
  • Lead team meetings to create a highly engaged, technically strong, customer-focused Home Assessing team
  • Coach, mentor, and support Direct Reports to ensure performance meets or exceeds KPIs and service standards
  • Escalation point for complex negotiations and disputes, working with Claims Management Team
  • Implement and oversee WH&S regulatory frameworks to manage risks
  • Monitor and audit supplier performance, delivering cost and service outcomes
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior leadership experience with at least 5 years leading teams
  • Minimum 5 years' experience and strong knowledge of Home Assessing, Building Repair and Restoration environment
  • Experience leading teams of professionals and contributing to business results
  • Strong commercial acumen and capability in developing and executing strategic programs
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
