About the Role

As a Senior Rostering Coordinator at BaptistCare, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting your colleagues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for delivering rostering and administrative functions for our aged care services.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and publishing of fortnightly rosters.
  • Timely submission of pay periods to payroll.
  • Assist with maintaining a master roster within budget, including consideration of occupancy and care minutes.
  • Coordinate staff replacement and management of unplanned leave.
  • Participate in the recruitment process within the home.
  • Distribute the fortnightly roster in required timeframes and develop staff daily run sheets.
  • General administrative duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Essential qualifications and experience:
  • Experience with rostering staff in shift-based work.
  • Experience using rostering systems and software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
  • Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
