Roster and Payroll Specialist

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Roster and Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in delivering rostering and administrative functions for our aged care services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and publish fortnightly rosters within tight deadlines.
- Ensure timely submission of pay periods to payroll.
- Assist in maintaining master rosters within budget constraints, considering occupancy and care minutes.
- Coordinate staff replacement and manage unplanned leave effectively.
- Participate in recruitment processes within the home.
- Distribute fortnightly rosters and develop staff daily run sheets.
- Experience with rostering staff in shift-based work.
- Familiarity with rostering systems and software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to meet deadlines, thrive under pressure, and adapt quickly.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong numeracy skills.
