Job Title

Strategic Funding Partnership Manager

The role of Strategic Funding Partnership Manager plays a pivotal part in securing and managing third-party funding arrangements with relevant compensable funding agencies. The successful candidate will report directly to the Divisional Head, Compensable Revenue.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Queensland Department of Veteran's Affairs to negotiate and oversee the Hospital Services Arrangement (HSA).
  • Undertake comprehensive patient-level data analysis, prepare and submit HSA funding claims in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other states and territories to develop and manage interjurisdictional funding agreements and data sharing protocols.
  • Manage data responsibilities for all third-party funding arrangements.
  • Contribute to the development of compensable revenue and funding estimates as critical inputs into Queensland Health budget planning and Hospital and Health Service service agreements.
  • Collaborate with other Queensland Health Divisions to design, implement, and review revenue optimization strategies, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
  • High-level analytical, problem-solving, and evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in interpreting funding arrangements and legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to project manage system improvement initiatives.
