IT Portfolio Manager

  • We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing technology projects, including end-user compute, ServiceNow, software integration, and cybersecurity at large organisations.

This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and vendors. The successful candidate will be accountable for demand management and resource management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT portfolio function, including projects, governance, and people, to ensure high performance and a fit-for-purpose framework for delivering projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure timely and quality delivery of technology projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Project Management.
  • Professional project management qualifications/certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, Lean Sigma).
  • Extensive experience in PMO, program, and project management, delivering cross-functional projects across the full project life cycle.
