Strategic Equity Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Equity Portfolio Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for quantitative research on existing and new strategies and day-to-day management of existing investment portfolios.
About the RoleThis is a key role within our organisation, playing a pivotal part in driving the delivery of our strategic agenda and target portfolio structure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis and experience in building and applying large data sets to disciplined equity investment processes.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership in excellence in both research and portfolio management and in guiding and coaching junior members of the team. Responsibilities will include assisting with the design and implementation of systematic (quant) portfolios, identifying and leading research projects to enhance existing strategies, and providing domain expertise in areas such as portfolio performance monitoring and compliance.
Key Qualifications- Extensive experience in institutional asset management
- Quantitative background and experience in building and applying large data sets and disciplined equity investment processes
- Experience in systematic equities portfolio construction
- Strong people and relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in Python and familiarity with the Python data science ecosystem
