About the Role
Job Description- This is a strategic and collaborative position that drives excellence across portfolio and project management practices.
- The successful candidate will ensure visibility, governance, and continuous improvement of processes.
The role is based at the Knox Civic Centre and supports flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs are met.
As a key member of the Strategy and Transformation team, you will provide analysis and reporting on portfolio and project health and progress.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely portfolio and project level reporting in coordination with senior leadership.
- Liaise with Program Leads and Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Report to senior leadership and have line management responsibility for one Portfolio Analyst.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of delivering programs on time and on budget using disciplined planning and mastery of project management techniques and processes.
- Critical skills including program and project health reporting, decision making, influencing, and a high level of financial acumen.
- The ability to provide strategic oversight and monitoring of interdependencies across the portfolio of projects.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication aptitude.
- Strong collaboration and relational skills with a proven track record of developing staff capabilities.
- Demonstrated skill in managing analysis and hypothesis-driven problem-solving.
- Developed strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Aptitude to develop meaningful reports and data-driven insights and dashboards.
- This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) permanent role.
