National Sales Director

About the Role
As a key member of the Orora team, the National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy and customer engagement agenda for the Closures business in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Sales strategic plan, focusing on customer retention and value optimization from Orora's manufacturing assets.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to further a customer-centric approach and lead the Value+ agenda.
- Develop and implement key account management processes for priority customers, ensuring strong relationships and revenue growth.
- Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, leading the collaborative customer forecast process and demand analysis.
- Identify and respond to customer needs, monitoring market trends and sales performance within specific customer segments.
- Drive sales excellence and team capability development, ensuring the sales team is equipped to meet customer needs.
- Manage the overall business portfolio to maximize division revenues and profitability, monitoring and reporting on critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with the wider Orora sales teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the contract renewal process and Request for Proposal (RFP) process for key customers, developing senior-level relationships with customers from CEO level down.
About You
Successful candidates will:
- Have 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in a Business-to-Business (B2B) and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- possess strong negotiation skills and a tertiary business qualification or similar higher education.
- Have previous experience in managing and leading high-performing sales teams and developing procurement/buying relationships at multiple levels of an organization.
