Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to support our day-to-day operations, facilities management, and risk compliance for a portfolio of retail centres.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities coordination, trade or building services, ideally within retail shopping centres.

A strong understanding of building systems, WHS requirements, and contractor management is essential.

The successful applicant will be able to manage projects, operational budgets, and compliance requirements with ease.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are required.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach is necessary for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver facilities and building management functions across the portfolio.
  • Implement preventative maintenance and capital works programs.
  • Manage service contracts, contractor compliance, and KPI deliverables.
  • Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and procurement tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, fire safety, and risk management regulations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including waste management and solar projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, tenants, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in tenancy coordination, fit-out approvals, and essential services compliance.
Requirements
  • Experience in facilities coordination, trade or building services, ideally within retail shopping centres.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, WHS requirements, and contractor management.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, operational budgets, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and building maintenance systems.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle for site visits.
