Destination Brisbane Consortium has an opportunity for a motivated Retail Property Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and financial aspects of the Retail and F&B tenancies of Queen's Wharf Brisbane.

Queen's Wharf Brisbane is a new world-class integrated resort development that has established Brisbane as a prominent tourism, leisure, and entertainment destination. It was delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium, a joint venture between The Star Entertainment Group, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, and Far East Consortium. Our consortium combines extensive experience in property, hotel development, consumer markets, entertainment, and hospitality.

This role involves managing leases, maintaining strong tenant relations, overseeing upkeep and repairs, monitoring financial performance, and maximising property income. We seek candidates with a strong customer focus, exceptional relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and high organisation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lease Management: Ensuring compliance with lease terms and managing renewals.
  2. Tenant Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, addressing needs and concerns, and resolving disputes.
  3. Maintenance and Repairs: Overseeing property maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure a safe and appealing environment.
  4. Financial Management: Managing budgets, rent collection, expense control, financial reporting, and revenue monitoring.
  5. Property Optimisation: Identifying opportunities to improve occupancy, maximise revenue, and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  6. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  7. Reporting: Preparing regular performance reports including occupancy, rental income, and expenses.
  8. Communication: Engaging effectively with tenants, property owners, and stakeholders.
  9. Marketing: Participating in marketing initiatives to attract tenants and increase visibility.
  10. Tenant Management: Finding, screening, managing leases, and building positive tenant relationships.
  11. Financial Oversight: Rent collection, budget management, and financial reporting to maximise income and minimise costs.
  12. Property Maintenance: Ensuring property safety and upkeep, overseeing repairs, vendor relations, and inspections.
