About the Position:This role is part of an integrated care team working with families and universal, secondary, and tertiary service providers to deliver comprehensive and holistic care.
- Support the development of a statewide mental health initiative for children.
- Conduct assessments, create care plans, and implement individual and group secondary level mental health interventions for children and families.
- Develop and foster collaborative partnerships with service providers including primary health, child health, parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and early childhood programs and services.
The position will also involve:
- Ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through relevant assessment, recovery-focused case management, and other recovery or trauma-informed services.
- Providing evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems.
- Actively participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other team members as required.
