Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the multidisciplinary team. As a key member, you will provide specialist mental health care services to children and adolescents with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments, care planning, and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families.
  • Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers, including primary health, child health, and parenting programs.
  • Collect and review client and service outcome data to improve client outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • Valid registration must be maintained at all times while employed in this role.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will also have strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.
