Clinical Lead for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the establishment of the CYMHS North Head to Health Kids Tasmania service, working collaboratively with families and universal, secondary, and tertiary service providers to deliver integrated and holistic care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments, care planning, and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families.

  • Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers, including primary health, child health, and parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and early childhood programs and services.
  • Collect and review client and service outcome data, contributing to activities that enhance client outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development, and improvement processes, as well as professional development standards.

The Clinical Lead will provide specialist services to clients of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, Adult Community, Inpatient, and Extended Treatment teams at Launceston General Hospital, adhering to best practice principles within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
