Job Overview:

The Role:

As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will work closely with paediatricians, allied health professionals, and external services to ensure continuity of care. You will need to possess strong communication skills, be able to connect with children and families in a supportive and respectful manner, and have the ability to think critically in dynamic clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by paediatricians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care to paediatric patients.
  • Provide family-centred support and engage with families to educate them on their child's condition and treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and development of student nurses.
