
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing specialist mental health services to children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, your expertise will be pivotal in delivering holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, develop tailored care plans, and deliver high-quality secondary-level mental health interventions.
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with service providers across primary health, child health, parenting, pediatrics, child safety, education, and early childhood programs to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by analyzing client and service outcome data, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
- A postgraduate qualification or current enrollment in a relevant postgraduate program.
