Job Description

Job Title: Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Advanced Personnel Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our IT systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain our IT systems, including hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on the use of our IT systems.
  • Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in reviews of internal policies to ensure our systems and processes are aligned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical skills, with experience in implementing and maintaining IT systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of biorepository systems and processes, including physical storage methods and IT solutions.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Health Information Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in research or international development projects, and working in a medical research environment.
  • Experience in change management, relating to process or procedural change.
  • Experience in databases, data curation, or visualization.
