Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the functional administration, master data, configuration, and maintenance of the payroll and time attendance systems, which are used for payroll, award interpretation, rostering/scheduling, and time and attendance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional administration of the time and attendance and payroll system.
  • Support operational business units in establishing payroll system functionalities, structuring levels of access, and enabling systems processing of EA provisions as intended and in line with legal requirements.
  • Provide functional support and administration of people systems.
  • Support the Payroll team and extended HR team by providing systems expertise and solutions.
  • Maintain and monitor interfaces between SAP and Kronos and engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and relevant payroll legislation.
  • Ensure all employees are set up correctly in Kronos.
  • Manage incidents, problems, requests, and functional issues through to completion within agreed time frames.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain Workforce Dimensions (WFD) in compliance with Awards and test pay rules.
  • Implementation and configuration of WFD and related projects.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities through innovative technologies and processes.
  • Implement or develop standard procedures and documentation.
  • Drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and interpret new legislation.
Requirements
  • 1st level support of UKG time and attendance.
  • Including configuration of building blocks, payroll testing, version upgrades, award interpretation, pay codes, work rules, interfaces, scheduling, and advanced scheduler.
  • Experience with complex, multi-site, and multi-agreement organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting issues quickly, identifying and analyzing solutions in a timely manner, and managing competing priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • SOX/Audit compliance.
  • Analytically minded and solutions-focused individual.
