Asset Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Systems Administrator to join our Operations Team at the Melbourne Racing Club. This is a key role that oversees and supports the organisation's asset and building management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a centralised, up-to-date database of all facilities-related assets.
- Produce monthly financial reports on the commissioning and decommissioning of assets and utilise asset data to assist with budget planning.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all asset-related data within the Asset Management System (AMS) and implement procedures for identifying and resolving any issues.
- Guide the ongoing enhancement of the AMS, including coordinating integrations with other applications.
- Support the procurement process by maintaining a database of contractors, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
- Use historical data to forecast future asset needs, aiding the facilities team in planning and budgeting more effectively.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of internal processes to continuously review and maintain asset-related data, ensuring its reliability.
- A relevant qualification or significant experience developing and implementing computer-based strategic asset management systems.
- Experience with cloud-based Facilities Management Software is highly desirable.
- Experience in asset management with knowledge of lifecycle management of assets.
- 3+ years of experience in asset system administration.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to cope with conflicting work priorities.
- A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an environment with significant complexity.
- Highly developed relationship management skills, including the demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
