Job Title: Power Systems Engineering Expert

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engineers and drive success in power systems engineering & grid connection. As a key figure, you will be responsible for managing grid connection studies, developing technical solutions, and mentoring a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and motivate their team towards achieving common goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage grid connection studies and grid connection modelling to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee model development, perform studies, and assess results using tools like PSS/E, PSCAD, PSS/Sincal, and DIgSILENT.
  • Provide technical supervision and mentoring to a team of engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Offer technical support to external stakeholders, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with a proven track record of success in power systems engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of power systems within transmission, distribution, and/or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
