Senior Commissioning Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned Commissioning Professional to spearhead the commissioning of substation primary plant and secondary systems.

  • Lead the commissioning and integration of substation projects by providing testing and commissioning services through internal staff and external contractors.
  • Leverage industry expertise to offer expert engineering advice on substation commissioning and maintenance.
  • Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, outage plans, inspection and test plans, and secondary works programs for effective management of substation primary plant and secondary system commissioning projects.
  • Clearly articulate and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering category.
  • Full working rights within Australia essential.
  • 8+ years of experience in delivering complex high voltage grid connection projects with a background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment.
  • Dedicated, driven, and hardworking individual who goes above and beyond to solve problems and meet critical deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels and successfully negotiate with and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management and knowledge of quality assurance principles.
