Job Title: Solar Grid Integration Specialist

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the grid integration process for solar power projects, ensuring seamless connection to the grid while meeting regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on grid connection matters.
  • Lead and manage the grid connection process for solar power projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage and negotiate grid connection agreements, contracts, and permits with relevant authorities, while monitoring and mitigating grid connection risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop grid connection strategies and ensure smooth project execution.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies and grid impact assessments, and providing training and support to project teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in grid connection management within the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of grid connection regulations, standards, and practices in Australia.
  • Strong understanding of power system studies, including grid modeling, fault analysis, and harmonic analysis.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
