Job Overview

We are seeking a Grid Connection Expert to join our team on a permanent basis. This role can be based from any of our office locations in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance during project development, including the development of balance of plant tenders and requirements to ensure that factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are considered.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert guidance on grid connections to drive performance and ensure they deliver their services to company standards.
  • Taking responsibility for grid intelligence and implementing new connection methods arising from policy changes and changing industry standards.
  • Developing standardized arrangements for grid connections that reduce installation time and cost while maintaining or improving plant performance.
  • Supporting the delivery of projects by providing grid expertise to project managers throughout the project lifecycle, including on-site support as required.
  • Supporting the operation and maintenance of plants by providing grid expertise to Asset Managers throughout the life of the plant.
  • Identifying and unlocking opportunities within Transmission and Distribution (T&D) networks.
  • Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Pro-actively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential challenges, and devising contingency plans.
